Crispy Sweet and Sour Seitan

I needed to try to make Seitan again. This time I tried a different recipe for the seitan itself and a recipe to deal with it.

This was pretty freakin good. It was similar in both texture and taste to A Single Pebble's "Buddha Beef". Which means I'm going to make this one a lot more. And I'm making it for company.

THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!

i was tempted to just leave the above as my comment, but figured i should explain.

i've been trying to find a recipe for a single pebble's buddha beef for about 3 years. i live in milwaukee, and only get to feast upon this heavenly delight about once a year. that is not enough! i am so excited that you posted the link to this with the words buddha beef and single pebble, otherwise i wouldn't have found it. i've already made it twice! i heart ye!

thanks again,
susie

Hey thanks for stopping by my blog. Which one are you guys mainly using, On Our Table or Upon Our Table?

I'll put it this way I never would have tried grilled zuccini if it weren't for you guys. On Friday I actually tried grilled squash. Allie is still trying to get me to try eggplant, baby steps though...
